Michelle Eden Humphrey is a costume designer based in New York City. Michelle has been designing costumes for theatrical productions, high-profile celebrities, advertising companies, corporate events & private parties for many years. While she was the resident costume designer for The Sharon Playhouse she designed over 20 productions. Michelle is currently the Director of costumes for the Vocal Performance Department at New York University Steinhardt and has been creating, designing & teaching costumes for NYU since 2003.
She has designed hundreds of musicals throughout her career. Michelle worked in the wardrobe department at Cedar Fair Entertainment Company’s Knott’s Berry Farm for several years. She costumed special performances by Tales from the Crypt and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. She has worked with celebrities such as Madonna, Prince, Cher, Star Jones and Sha NaNa to name a few.
